SOUP & SASS

Soup and Sass, an evening of comedy for women, will be held at Artspace Community Arts Center, 15 Mill St., Greenfield, on Thursday, October 29, from 5:30 to 7:30.  Comedienne Ellen Villani of Greenfield will dish out the soup and laughter. Admission is  $20, and there will be a donation wine bar.   Ellen began her comedy career at Artspace, and now performs regularly in the area. HOLIDAY SHOP  -  LOCAL ART AND CRAFTS - $50 AND UNDER   

DECEMBER 3 - 13TH, 2009   10 A.M. TO 6 P.M.  SEVEN DAYS A WEEK. OPEN UNTIL 9 ON FRIDAY.

Artspace’s Holiday Shop will be open from Thursday, December 3 through Sunday, December 13.  Hours are 10 – 6 pm seven days a week with extended hours to 9 p.m. on Fridays.   The shop has a large assortment of locally made gifts:  cards, photos, paintings, pottery, many styles of jewelry, doll clothes, handbags made from recycled materials, CDs by local musicians, candles, honey, knitted sweaters and hats, glass ornaments, vases, and bottle stoppers.

Gifts are priced at $50 and under, with many in the $3 to $15 range. 

In the hallway gallery, there is a half price sale of large Giclee Prints by Laura Garrison.

A Bake/Food Sale and Café will be available on Dec. 4, 5, & 6 and 12 & 13.  The Café will feature soups and other treats. Stop by for lunch and shopping.
